Mark Trumbo
Trumbo has homered in 4 straight games for the Dbacks, and has an impressive total of five in the first week of the season. He will put his streak on the line against new Giants pitcher Tim Hudson. These two have faced each other only 5 times in their careers, but Trumbo does have a home run in one of those at bats.
Yordano Ventura
This kid is going to be fun to watch this year. The 22 year old rookie has an electric fastball that will sit in the upper 90's, and sometimes reach into triple digits. He saw limited action last season, getting 3 starts, but this will be his first opportunity to begin a season in the rotation. I expect him to be in AL Rookie of the Year contention all season. You'll want to flip over to this one when Ventura takes the mound.
Game of the Night: Marlins vs Nationals
The first place Marlins, yes first place Marlins, are traveling to D.C. to take on the prohibitive favorites to win the NL East. The Marlins have made some noise the first week of the season, and if they can come away with a series win against the most talented team in the East then they will really open some eyes. The Marlins offense has been on a tear, they'll need to keep that up in this difficult road series.
